One good way to find out is to ask how much staff turnover there is. Visiting on more than one occasion will allow you to see if the same staff members are there each time. Can you see a copy of the nursing home's most recent state inspection report? If you don't see it posted, don't hesitate to ask to see a copy.

You can use this service to refill subscriptions, ask questions, get medical advice, and schedule future appointments. Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage usually cover the costs as long as your doctor confirms the aforementioned requirements. If you have Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage plan, you can expect the standard Medicare coverage for hospice care. You’re our member, and your Kaiser Permanente health care team wants to do everything possible to maximize your recovery. It is important to note that Kaiser Permanente does not currently offer long-term care insurance plans.
When you qualify for Home Health services, our home health aides can help with short term intermittent personal care. Our social workers can help you identify and secure Kaiser Permanente and community resources to improve your overall health. They can also provide counseling to help you deal with the impact of illness or long-term care.
Call or visit a local hospice program to ask about which nursing homes they most often work with. Your Kaiser Permanente health care team knows who you are and why you’re there, before you even arrive. Authorizations for items or services not covered by Medicare must be obtained in advance from Nursing Home Services. If the need for such items or services is known prior to admission, Kaiser Permanente staff shall make the necessary arrangements.
